Sunday early games
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Football Team, 11 a.m., Fox
Washington was absolutely crushed by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16. That has to hurt a team's psyche.
Prediction: Eagles 24, Washington 14
Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints, 11 a.m., Fox
The Panthers are now relegated to playing spoiler after being eliminated from postseason contention. They'll play the role vs. New Orleans.
Prediction: Panthers 24, Saints 21
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Jets, 11 a.m., Fox
The Buccaneers are dealing with a lot of injuries, but they are still as vastly superior team than the Jets.
Prediction: Buccaneers 31, Jets 17
Miami Dolphins at Tennessee Titans, 11 a.m., CBS
This game will be a very big one for playoff seeding for the Titans and a big one for just making the postseason for the Dolphins. We'll go with the team trying to get the berth in an upset.
Prediction: Dolphins 21, Titans 17
Jacksonville Jaguars at New England Patriots, 11 a.m., CBS
Can the Jaguars upset the Patriots on the road? No, we don't think they can, especially without James Robinson.
Prediction: Patriots 28, Jaguars 13
Las Vegas Raiders at Indianapolis Colts, 11 a.m., Fox
Another game with big playoff implications, but we have to go with the home team in this one, a team that is becoming the team no one wants to face in the AFC.
Prediction: Colts 30, Raiders 21
Kansas City Chiefs at Cincinnati Bengals, 11 a.m., CBS
The Bengals are young and hungry, the Chiefs are experienced and still hungry. The experience will win out late.
Prediction: Chiefs 35, Bengals 32
New York Giants at Chicago Bears, 11 a.m., CBS
Neither of these teams are going to make the playoffs, but we have more confidence in the Bears showing up at home than the Giants showing up on the road.
Prediction: Bears 21, Giants 10
Atlanta Falcons at Buffalo Bills, 11 a.m., Fox
The Bills have been hyped as a Super Bowl contender all season. They are finally starting to look like one.
Prediction: Bills 30, Falcons 20
Sunday late games
Houston Texans at San Francisco 49ers, 2:05 p.m., CBS
The 49ers really need a win to help their playoff cause. After seeing the Texans beat the Los Angeles Chargers last week, they won't look past Houston.
Prediction: 49ers 24, Texans 16
Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers, 2:05 p.m., CBS
The Chargers' playoff chances took a hit with the loss to the Texans last week. They'll help their chances with a win over the Broncos.
Prediction: Chargers 31, Broncos 28
Los Angeles Rams at Baltimore Ravens, 2:25 p.m., Fox
The Ravens have lost four straight, but still find themselves in the thick of the AFC playoff race. They can't afford a fifth straight loss.
Prediction: Ravens 28, Rams 27
Detroit Lions at Seattle Seahawks, 2:25 p.m., Fox
Just the second game with both teams eliminated out of playoff contention this week. It's not easy to win in Seattle in the cold so we are going with the Seahawks.
Prediction: Seahawks 24, Lions 20
Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys, 2:25 p.m., Fox
The Cardinals have lost three straight games and desperately need a win. Problem is, the Cowboys are red-hot and they remember what happened in last year's meeting between the teams.
Prediction: Cowboys 21, Cardinals 20
Sunday Night Football
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers, 6:20 p.m., NBC
The Vikings are playing for their playoff lives. The Packers will end their chances with a close win in Green Bay.
Prediction: Packers 30, Vikings 28
Monday Night Football
Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers, 6:15 p.m., ESPN
A lot will be on the line in the final game of the week. The winner keeps its playoff hopes alive in the crowded AFC postseason race.
Prediction: Browns 17, Steelers 16
